thriller · Short Films · english
The narrative of the film carries out a back and forth movement between the past and the present unfolding of events that include a police interrogation and the developments that led to this precise moment. As a man is questioned about what truly happened, the viewer too is allowed to gradually participate in the story.
The past reveals to be a setting of a remote estate where a group of youngsters sit, enjoying a few drinks by the fire. However, instead of the blissful tone that such a situation might have carried in a parallel universe, we are introduced to past traumas, loss, death and eventually, gory violence. The narrative comes into its own to reveal a dark reality of ruthless murders which is the reason why our protagonist now sits before the police.
The film wants to be a story of thrill and horror, endeavoring to bring to life events and developments that invoke the same within you. However, when the crux and the reveal finally arrive, would you have comprehended the reality of this world of bloodshed and twisted minds enough to be prepared for them?
