Any equation between two people is heavily influenced and shaped by technology in our contemporary reality, to the point of perhaps even distorting our lived experience, often leaving it exposed to manipulation. The narrative takes this premise a step further to introduce us to a world where a mobile app called Telescope reigns free.

We are led by the hand into an all-too-familiar reality where social media points become a very important currency, especially for college students, as they navigate the complex territory of romantic relationships and heartache. The film chooses Ella, an introverted, socially awkward character as its protagonist, who too finds herself going down the path of conformity with the rules of the virtual world in an attempt to reconstruct a broken bridge back to a former lover. As she moves from one desperate endeavour to another, what truly are the intentions of a reclusive, hurting young woman like Ella?

The story and writing, on the whole, exhibit potential, but seem to miss the same vigour when it comes to execution, an aspect yet to be definitely looked forward to in the future projects by the young team.
