The whole narrative is constituted by two characters, a man and a woman, moving from one corner of the city to another. To measuring house corners against furniture placement, to eating hot dogs or enjoying a panoramic view of the city, they do it all, taking the viewer along with them on each of these experiences.
It is in the ensuing conversation, however, that the main underpinnings make their presence felt. Essentially, the conversation comes to pivot on looking for something specific in life, positioned alongside the extraordinariness of the mundane, daily occurrences.
The performances are marked by sincerity, while the storytelling exhibits potential. The project, in its current form, however, does not explore them entirely, and therefore it is a welcome prospect to see deeper engagement with the same thematic concerns in the future.
