The short film divides itself into subparts, and weaves each of them together using the common thread of poetry and echoes of poetic elements. The comment it is making is about systemic racism that operates on innumerable levels. Though the film brings to attention recent examples of unjust violence meted out to people of color, it takes them a step further to also make a resounding comment about the effects of more nuanced and subtle forms of racism that functions in more insidious ways than a person might realize at first glance.

Additionally, nature becomes an important source of imagery and motifs as the issue at hand is discussed, tied with intimate shots of a first-person narrative that unfolds from the character's bed. This is coupled with a silhouetted voiceover that aims to further embellish the progression of events.

The approach, in the process, acquires an experimental quality, all along adopting a sense of intimacy and a confessional tone to elaborate its ideas. Lastly, the narrative offers a comment on society's desensitization towards racism because of how haphazardly rampant it has become, further accentuating the desperate need of the hour to examine the various societal apparatuses, be it law and order or other forms of administration, and finally amend the wrongs done simply based on one's skin color.
