The film makes an interesting choice to tell a story without any dialogue. It introduces us to a father, his daughter, and their trusted dog. On their establishment, they are fighting a losing battle against predators who are targeting the poultry. 

The young daughter’s soft heart always gets the better of her during such accidents. The film tells a notable story of her movement from the acceptance of the crushing but also indifferent cruelty of the natural world, to the need to make difficult decisions no matter how heartbreaking.<br><br> The many emotional strokes are painted on the storytelling spectrum, strengthened by the shared chemistry and effortless performance of the two actors. <br><br>

The narratorial movement from one point to another is further achieved with ease. Though a slight rough edge or two appears in the overall storytelling, sometimes owing to the limitations of the approach the film has adopted, the end result ensures that they are swift to disappear as it progresses.
