With an ominous opening, where several characters, seemingly unconnected with each other, talk about a violent event, the short film begins conjuring an atmosphere of deep disconcertment right from the very first visual. At the same time, the well-paced narrative takes its time setting itself up for the viewer, further accentuating an already palpable sense of unease.

The premise of the film is essentially about violence and the performative nature it acquires in the face of an apathetic people. Invoking the indifference of the public gaze, one under which the most heinous deeds might be committed while mute spectators look away, the film puts forth a disturbing spectacle for its audience.

The act is committed and the brute takes his final bow, his violence attaining an almost sacrosanct space in a society that would happily turn a blind eye, perhaps even cheer him on by means of their unexpressed voyeurism. As the title suggests, the plot draws attention to the contagious nature of this apathy which sees itself multiply as more participants get involved. This allows the film to invoke a reality marred with gruesome images and troubling sentiments bound to stay with the viewer long after they are done watching it.
