Nick and Eleni are out to meet their friend and her new boyfriend one night. The conversation flows with ease, exhibiting effortless chemistry and intimacy between the two. However, the narrative changes its mood and tonality swiftly once they find themselves in an empty space where they try to park their car after having crossed paths with a strange man. He is notably defined by a sense of aggression simmering right underneath the surface.

The narrative switches gear to bring a sense of frivolity and merriment, characteristic of a night of drinking with friends, only to subvert the viewer’s expectations once again with malice and sinister intentions that enter the circumstance subsequently. This movement from one emotional state to another remains smooth and organic.

With its story and screenplay, the film straddles both humor and darkness with competence and skill. It keeps the viewers on their toes, catching them completely unaware with its climax and eventual conclusion. As the film discusses ideas of masculinity, its toxic twin, and violence, the writing, and performances, alongside the visual narrative unfolding before you, together present an engaging, entertaining final result.
