The film endeavours to tell a story of acceptance and belonging through the innocence of children. It opens with a classroom setting where the coyness of a girl is in direct contrast with her enthusiastic classmates. Its attempted themes of isolation and alienation are allowed a visual space to be mapped against as it moves from one scene to another.

All the while the reason for the girl's unease and the distance she maintains from her classmates is revealed only by way of a glove that she wears in her left hand. The reality of what lays underneath that cheery, colourful glove, a clear badge of childhood and its simplicity, is not revealed to the viewer. One day, when she finds another peer wearing a similar glove on his hand, things are about to take an interesting turn, that could potentially also explain the title of the film. However, would this change be for the better or worse?
