The scene is fraught with shadows and darkness when the film opens, perhaps suggesting the ominous development that would soon arrive for its characters. The location has been established too - a hospital where two people await important news from the doctor. It is only after that it is revealed that the story truly begins.

The visuals adopt an experimental approach to come into their own, taking our two primary characters - a mother-daughter duo into an abstract space that resembles their house, but is far from their corporeal, earthly existence. The exploration of this space that lies somewhere between life and death leads to a crisis marked by an inherent sentimentalism that aims to further heighten the tension of the situation.

While the mother fights for her life, lying unconscious on the hospital bed, her daughter is by her side, imploring her to come back. This exchange between them finds an expression in the copy of their house where the two attempt to find a way back to each other. The question that looms high above their head till the very last minute of the film is that will they succeed at it?
